I picked up this system when I decided that I'd have to work on an IBM style system if I wanted to program on micros in the business world. It was a solid little PC clone which has served me well to this day. A gang of computer haters attempted to "kidnap" this system but were foiled in their attempt. Unfortunately they ruined the video and keyboard cables. I've picked up replacements for them but I'd still like to do something with the original damaged ones. If you know how to fix the cables, please get in touch with me. Now the power supply seems to be going out. The fan powers up but the drives and motherboard don't seem to be getting any power. I opened the system up and noticed the power supply seems to be corroding. Not sure how that came about but you can see it here and here. I think I can pull the power supply from the system and drop in a new one. If you know why it would begin corroding (I'm not a PSU expert by any means) or where I can get a replacement without buying a whole new system, please let me know. The motherboard appears to have escaped ok but I still need to check the second motherboard underneath the system. Keeping my fingers crossed.
